Don't Re-invent the Wheel: Research Instructions

In your teams, vote on 2-3 unique themes or challenges from your first interviews at UCP.

In pairs, research these themes and try to identify up to 3 existing products/solutions that address your issue.

Research tips:

  • Try some of these keywords when you search: “assistive” “adaptive” “special needs” “cerebral palsy” along with words related to your theme
  • use google to find websites (like abledata.com) that sell adaptive tech and then search/browse their products within their site.
  • if you can’t find anything specific think of related issues or related disabilities and search for those.
  • try specific searches first, then try more generalized searches if you don’t find anything

Create a 1 blog post for each theme and write up your research results. Copy and paste these questions into each blog post:
