Interning at Cloudhead Art was unique for the simple fact that our boss was in Argentina, while Youssef and I were in New York. When Youssef and I started this internship I equated the type of work we would be doing to the kind of project based work we have done in Mouse Corps, and will be doing in the senior seminar during our senior year. This relationship is primarily because we designed our own project with our own goals, objectives, and schedule. It was all up to us. We had to make our own deadlines, and recognize when we needed to adjust to the project. While working with Cloudhead Art, Youssef and I conceptualized, prepared, filmed, and edited a stop-motion animation that will be airing on the Cloudhead blog in October. It doesn’t sound like much, but we worked every day for three weeks to create something that would exemplify our ideas about banned books.
