We have changed our idea from designing to help someone with cerebral palsy get a shirt on to helping them put on a shoe

we plan on using a platform that can tilt forward at an angle, it would have two walls to help keep the shoe in place, there will be a hook of some sort to help hold the back of the shoe up.

We tested this in the best way possible a saw that to have the shoe lean forward at an angle allows your feet to slide right into the shoe, the hook at the back simply keeps the back in place and ensures your feet do not crush the back and only complicate getting your shoe on.

The mechanical motions will later be determined based on how we make the base. It will likely involve a piston and motor for movement of the various pieces.
